Affiliated with Little Athletics Queensland, Springwood Little Athletics Centre provides athletics programs for children and young people aged 3 to 17, from Tiny Tots through to Under 17s.
Established in 1979, the Centre originally operated from the grounds of Springwood State High School before relocating to its current home in Meadowbrook in 1991, where it leases its facilities from Logan City Council.
Over the years, Springwood has supported the development of countless young athletes, many of whom have gone on to achieve success at state, national, and international levels. Our alumni have also excelled in a variety of other sports, including Rugby Sevens and the NRL.
With the addition of oval lighting, Springwood now offers a Friday evening competition program, providing a more comfortable experience during the summer months, along with late-afternoon training sessions throughout the season.
