FRIDAY'S PROGRAM SHARKS UNLEASHED UPCOMING CARNIVALS

Good evening Sharkies.
Welcome to the new week at the Sharks.
FRIDAY WAS A GREAT EVENING !!!! As stated before, Coaching nights are among my favourites as athletes can be seen 'getting it'. We want to thank ALL our coaches, Jez, Gavin, Judy, Mikaylah, Vicki, Tim, Rachael, Finn and our new coaches Lauren and Renee, for really working through the events with the athletes, and we really hope your athletes took away something from the night. My moment of the night was U16 RobIn taking a U10 boy through how to do a slide in Shot Put.
This Friday night, we will run our Centre Championship Walks at the start of the evening. Walks do NOT contribute towards Centre Championship points, but will be run under Championship conditions, meaning we will have Race walk judges present, and athletes can/and will be disqualified for incorrect technique. Please be aware of this before considering entering. If you want to enter these races, just reply to this email or let us know via Facebook before Friday morning.
Have you checked in with Suzy and the canteen team? Suzy has been preparing some great home cooking, and this week sees Chicken Carbonara on the menu - at $8 it's VERY filling but get in quick as they do sell out.

Ever thought about coaching?! As you can see, we can only offer coaching around our coaches and their schedules, which leads me to introduce the following initiative.
Hey Sharkie parents,
We're excited to announce an awesome opportunity coming up for parents to get involved and help our club grow!
As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance the experience and skill development for our athletes, we're looking for interested parents to complete a Level 1 Queensland Athletics coaching course, and we're covering the cost!
Here's the deal:
If you're interested in learning to coach and advancing your skill set, we want to hear from you!
We'll cover 50% of the course cost upfront, and if you commit to weekly or fortnightly coaching for the rest of the season, we'll cover the remaining 50%!
Not only will you be supporting our club and athletes, but you'll also gain valuable skills and experience.
If you're keen to get involved and make a difference, please reply to this post or send me a message expressing your interest. We'll provide more details on the course and next steps.
Don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity to be part of our club's growth and development!
Looking forward to hearing from you,
Coach Jez
